TUFF TEAM XTREME RANCH RODEO RETURNS TO MIDLAND
Midland, Texas — The Tuff Team Xtreme Ranch Rodeo will be held at the Midland County Horseshoe at 2514 Arena Trail, on August 27, 28 and 29. Teams of cowboys from all over the state of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma will be competing in the three-day event.
“In the last two years we had some of the greatest and toughest cowboys to come out of New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas,” said Billy Roush, chairman of the Tuff Team Xtreme Ranch Rodeo, Inc. board. “We have made some really good friendships and are looking forward to seeing everyone back this year.”
Rodeo events include Cattle Mugging, Bronc Riding, Wildest Bronc Ride, Trailer Loading, Steer Dressing, Doctoring, and Open Kids’ Wild Cow Race. The Bit & Spur Tradeshow will be going on all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as an open USTRCA Team Roping. The Doug Moreland Band will be playing at the dance on Friday and Saturday night following the rodeo. On Saturday the Tall City Youth Horse Club will perform youth horse events in the Outdoor Arena. There will also be a VIP barbecue dinner on Saturday at 5 p.m. On Sunday morning at 8 a.m. there will be a cowboy church service followed by youth horse course events performed by the Gardendale Cowboy Church Fellowship.
Proceeds from the ranch rodeo will go to the Midland Children's Rehab Center Hippotherapy Program and the Tom Butler Memorial Scholarship & Foundation. Tickets are $10 per rodeo performance, $15 per dance, and $20 for a pre-purchase of both at least one day in advance. VIP packages for Friday and Saturday night are available.
