Dan & Barbara Dune

Our ORHVC Volunteers of the Month for October are Dan and Barbara Dane. The couple moved to Midland in 1996 when Dan was transferred here as a Federal Administrative Law Judge. Barbara last worked as a Registered Nurse when they lived in Atlanta, George. Barbara has previously volunteered at the Midland Soup Kitchen as well as Travis Elementary School which she continues to do so to this day. Dan volunteered in the past at Meals on Wheels. They are both actively involved in the Parker Heights Christian Church in Odessa. They are a blessing and encouragement to many people in Midland and Odessa.
Dan and Barbara are a great asset to the Visitor Center and to travelers as they stop by for information about Midland and Texas. You can count on Dan and Barbara to be here faithfully for their shift and anytime you need them they joyfully help out. Both of them add so much to so many peoples' lives and it is a real joy to spend time with them at the visitors center.
